Williams College Men’s Soccer Recruiting Clinics are designed for high school student-athletes that have a strong interest in playing college soccer at an elite academic institution. Each clinic provides participants with high level coaching and training from the Williams College coaching staff and numerous environments to be evaluated in. Participants will be exposed to typical training sessions at Williams and gain a better understanding of what it takes to be a successful collegiate student-athlete.
Each clinic runs from 9am-3pm and include technical training, small-sided games, and full field scrimmages. At the conclusion of every clinic, there is an opportunity for recruits, parents, and coaches to interact in a college recruiting Q&A session. The coaching staff will discuss what we look for in scholar-athletes, the Williams Admissions process, and the demands and expectations of being an elite soccer player at Williams College. Current Williams players typically attend this segment to talk about their own experiences.
Our clinics provide each participant with instruction, evaluation, and feedback. We typically cap clinic attendance at 50 players, often mostly sophomores and juniors, though some freshmen and seniors do attend. Although it is ultimately up to each recruit and family whether these events fit within their son's college visit schedule, our coaching staff does not recommend missing school to participate in a clinic.
Space is limited at all four clinics. If you have any questions or need more information, we encourage you to reach out to a member of our staff at any time. We hope to see you play at a Williams Soccer clinic and at other upcoming tournaments and camps throughout this year and wish you the best of luck as your college search process continues. Thank you for your interest in Williams Soccer.
